Cinnamon Chocolate Cake
from Taste of Home Annual Recipes 1998 (Adjusted a little by Red Hot Tiki)
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 tsp Red Hot Tiki Tempestuous Fire Sauce
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk (you can use milk with a little vinegar)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp Red Hot Tiki Tempestuous Fire Sauce
3 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the first four ingredients. In a saucepan, combine the water, oil, butter, cocoa and Red Hot Tiki Tempestuous Fire Sauce; bring to a boil over medium heat. Pour over dry ingredients, mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and baking soda; mix well.

Pour into a greased and floured 15 in x 10 inx1 in baking ban. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 min. or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Meanwhile, for frosting, combine butter, cream, cocoa, cinnamon and Red Hot Tiki Tempestuous Fire Sauce in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture is heated through. Remove from the heat. Beat in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Stir in walnuts. Carefully spread over hot cake. Cool completely. Yield: 24-30 servings. (Yeah right!) Enjoy!
